The COVID-19 transmission obeys the rule 20/80
Scientists have studied the situation with coronavirus more thoroughly and after 3 months of study they claimed that only 20% of people, who didn’t follow the precautions, had infected another 80% of people.
Also, it was found that near 70% of infected people don’t transmit the virus to other people. 20% of infected people are super-spreaders and all infections pass due to the crowded places.
According to one of the authors of the study, there are more cases of super-spreading than they were expecting. They occur too often to consider them an accident. The speed of transmission is also very high.
After the analysis of 1000 cases of infection, scientists concluded that in order to stop the pandemic, super-spreaders have to be isolated. If the authorities start to work in this direction today, the second large wave of COVID-19 won’t happen.
