China wants coronavirus vaccine to be available throughout the world

Chinese authorities want to make the vaccine available throughout the world after they finish the research and clinical trials. Such statement was made by the Minister of Science and Technology Wang Zhigang. He also highlighted that during the vaccine development, scientists’ prior goal is make the vaccine safe, available and effective.

He believes that the world has to collaborate more in the next stages of vaccine development. “When the vaccine is ready to use, we will fulfill the commitments made by the President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping at the 73rd World Health Assembly, and will make it available throughout the world”, he added.

Chinese scientists are now developing 5 different vaccines. Some of them are now on the stage of clinical trials.
