Scientists found out when exactly coronavirus appeared in Wuhan

Specialists from Harvard Medical School believe that coronavirus appeared in Wuhan in August 2019. Such assumptions were made after the analysis of Chinese web searches and the number of cars in the parking lots near hospitals.

 At first glance it seems that such data is not reliable, but scientists explained that these may indicate the truth. Specialists studied the pics of parking lots from the beginning of 2018 till April 2020. The increase in number of cars took place in August 2019 and continues.

Another point – people began to search information related to cough and diarrhea in August last year. These are the main symptoms of coronavirus: the researchers proved that the gastrointestinal tract suffers. The highest number of requests was in December.

Specialists from Boston University of Health and the Boston Children’s Hospital were also brought in the research. John Braunstein noted that the car number couldn’t be connected directly with coronavirus, but the current picture indicates this. People started to treat the symptoms at home and more often go to the hospitals.
