Italian doctors: coronavirus has become weaker

Italian doctors reported about the encouraging results of COVID-19 patients: the infection becomes weaker and behaves less aggressively.

Clinically, the virus no longer exists in Italy, said Alberto Zangrillo, head of the San Raffaele hospital in Milan, Italy.

Italy is on the sixth place by the number of infected people. It was the first to face the infection in Europe. To date, the total number of officially confirmed cases of infection is 233 515, deaths – 33 530. In number of deaths Italy is oh the third place.

Zangrillo said that some experts are too concerned about the second wave of infection and the politicians had to take into account the new reality.

The results of the smears which were taken over the past 10 days, showed very small viral load compared to that observed a month or two months ago.

Apparently, in Italy the mutation process went on a favorable for humans path. The thing is that virus has no profit in killing the carrier, the virus has profit in multiplying and for this it has to get along with human.

However, it’s too early to talk about the victory.  Firstly, the conclusions of Alberto Zangrillo need to be confirmed by conducting a full study. Secondly, a favorable mutation of the virus in Italy does not mean that the virus mutated in all other countries.

Regardless of the difficultly predicted evolution of SARS-CoV-2, the humanity is trying to establish the production of coronavirus vaccine as soon as possible.
