WHO calls on to be prepared for the new pandemic

WHO urged the world on the new threat which may start soon. It was also said that coronavirus has reminded the countries on the necessity to develop and strengthen health care. Specialists also highlighted that the new wave of the pandemic will start soon.

WHO claims that countries have to introduce quarantine measures now. The representatives said that the countries with developed health care were able to detain the virus over the past year. WHO also highlighted that COVID-19 can be defeated only with the help of “solidarity, science and quickly made decisions”.

For the first time the world works on the common problem. Scientists from different countries are trying their best to develop the effective vaccine and also select tools and drugs for COVID-19 diagnostics and treatment. Moreover, the tools have to be available for everyone despite their social status.

It is worth to note that earlier the head of the WHO said that the effective COVID-19 vaccine may be launched in the second half of 2021. In this case, the risk group will be the first to get the vaccine.
