Scientists say that summer heat won’t stop the COVID-19 transmission

A lot of people believed that the number of coronavirus cases would reduce with summer heat, as previously it was found that the virus couldn’t live in heat. Unfortunately, the recent study completely contradicts all previous.

Such conclusion was made by French scientists. They found out that the virus dies only under heat treatment for 15 minutes at 91 ° C. When heated to standard 60 ° C, the virus continues to spread.

It is important to note that such conclusions are preliminary. Scientists believe that in case the heat stops the transmission of the virus, a slight cold will provoke new outbreak.
