Pandemic is on the increase. WHO sends experts to China to find coronavirus origin

“We will be able to deal with coronavirus successfully when we found everything about it out, including its source.” – said WHO Director General Tedros Adhan Ghebreyesus. He didn’t tell the details of mission. For several weeks, WHO has been trying to attract Chinese experts to the study.

Gebreyesus highlighted that the pandemic, caused by COVID-19, showed the best and the worst in humanity. He also noted that pandemic on the global level is only on its increase. But still, a lot of countries succeed in fighting the disease.

The COVID-19 outbreak started in China in the end of 2019. Since then, more than 10,3 million people were infected with SARS-CoV-2 and more than 506 000 died from the disease. The USA is the leader in number of infected people and death rate.
