Can the mosquitos be the carriers of coronavirus?

A lot of countries have begun to weaken the quarantine. Now, people are able to walk outside. That’s why a lot of people are preoccupied of mosquitos. Can they transmit infection? Can they infect people through the bite?

Specialists from the Italian National Institute of Health (ISS) says that the have already conduct a new study and concluded that mosquitos couldn’t spread the virus.

Earlier WHO declared that there is no evidence that the mosquitos can be infected with COVID-19 and then transmit it to another person. But still, a lot didn’t have a lot of confidence without any conducted research.

Italian specialists studied 2 mosquito species – the Asian tiger and the usual (squeak).

Experiments showed that virus particles which got into mosquitos, couldn’t reproduce.
